Final Field Trip

What a fun little field trip/closing ceremony. The capes were a great touch. Thanks Sharla and her mom! I got the slide, but I didn't end up getting any with the mothers and kids, so I am going to have copy someone's pictures too. :)

Final Fieldtrip

Our last fieldtrip was to the park for a scavenger hunt and awards. I only got a few pictures before my camera's battery died. So, I'm hoping to steal some of your pics off here when you post! ;)

The kids found nature things on a walk and put them into their bags

Here are the "super" kids posing in their capes

Making Rolls

This week we learned about resposibility. I read "The Little Red Hen" to the kids, then we made rolls. (I made the dough beforehand and let them shape them before we baked them.)

Here are the kids getting their dough ready and watching them cook. I thought the dough was too sticky, so I added extra flour. But, it wasn't enough. It was sticking everywhere!

And here is Weston showing off his finished product.

Cold Stone Field Trip

Learning about ice cream seems very intense after looking at the pictures I took :) Thanks Jenn.

That was such a fun trip! Thanks again Jenn for setting that up for the kids.

The joy school kids had a great time at their Valentines party. They frosted yummy sugar cookies and exchanged valentines. Thanks Nicole for your efforts!

Bean Museum

What a fun field trip we had to the Bean Museum. The kids all loved walking around and looking at all of the animals. They really liked the candy hearts that Geniel brought to share. Here are a few pictures that I was able to get.

The kids loved watching the magic school bus on one of the tv's. Not one of them looked at me as I took the picture.

This is a group shot of all the kids in front of the elephant.

I got this one of Connor, Kaden, and Weston when we first got there.

Thanks for planning a great field trip Nicole.
